Consulting

• Free initial consultation
• Assignments requiring travel: $100/hr plus expenses
• Work done at home: $85/hr for projects of 1 – 10 hours long
• $75/hr for projects longer than 11 hours

Patent prosecution

• Provisional patent applications are estimated to cost from about $300 – 1000.
• Non-provisional patent applications are estimated to cost from about $1500 – 4000 depending on the complexity of the application.

Patenting is an expensive undertaking. With few exceptions, the Patent Office charges fees for the various steps involved in the patent prosecution process. Link here to view fees charged by the US Patent Office.

For work done over the Internet, I will ask that certain fees such as US Patent Office fees be paid in advance through Pay Pal.
